Overview

This policy explains what we collect and why. We aim to collect as little as possible — Latte Spy works without you creating an account or giving us your name.

Information we collect

• Price reports you submit: the café, drink, size, extras, price, and the time of submission. Reports are anonymous — they are not linked to you.
• Approximate location: if you allow it, your device location is used to find nearby cafés. Coordinates are used only to load the map and nearby list; we do not store them with your identity.

How we use information

We use submitted prices to show typical café prices to the community, and location to surface nearby results. We do not sell your personal information.

Third parties

We use Apple Maps to display maps and find places; your map interactions are subject to Apple's privacy policy.

Data retention

Price reports are retained to keep the price history useful. Aggregated, non-identifying data may be kept indefinitely.

Your choices

You can deny or revoke location access at any time in your device or browser settings. To request removal of a price report you submitted, email us with the café and the approximate time of the report.
